Maybe the best time in my life was when I lived in a community, which I left a couple of years ago... It wasn’t entirely queer, but it was pretty queer, and very trans positive. Six or seven people in a big house, lots of freedom of expression. It was very easy to be in that space and actually explore... I think for the first time, really explore who I was. And I lived there for a long time, maybe twelve or thirteen years.
