The Importance of Wearing an Ace Ring

Being asexual forms quite a big part of my life. Even though it is just one part of my identity, it will make any romantic relationships I may have different from the 'norm'. And it may effect how my family and friends see me.

I wear an ace ring. This is a black ring worn on the middle finger of the right hand that symbolises asexuality. It's just a quiet reminder to me that this is part of who I am and that is ok, and can also be a signal to other aces.
